Two teenage boys treated for knife wounds after assault in Dublin

The incident happened at approximately 8.30pm.

TWO TEENAGE BOYS were treated for knife wounds in hospital last night after a stabbing incident in the East Wall area of Dublin city.

Gardaí said the two 16-year-old boys were assaulted during an incident involving a group of youths at Church Road at around 8.30pm yesterday.

Both teens sustained laceration wounds and were taken to the Mater Misericordiae University Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The scene was examined by local crime scene officers. No arrests have been made.

Gardaí are this morning appealing for any witnesses to the incident to come forward. They are also asking any road users who were in the area between 8.15pm and 8.30pm yesterday and who may have camera footage to make it available to them.
