Raiders escape after Dun Laoghaire Post Office robbery

Gardaí believe the two men were each in possession of a firearm.

GARDAÍ IN DUN Laoghaire are investigating the circumstances of a robbery at a Post Office on George’s Street Upper earlier today.

Two men believed to be in possession of firearms entered the Post Office at about 10.25am. They left with an amount of cash after threatening staff.

One raider left the scene on foot, the other in a dark-coloured car.

There were both staff and customers in the building at the time but nobody was injured during the incident.
