The protesters say they’re not giving up, but Dunnes remain silent.

YESTERDAY, THOUSANDS OF protesters took to the streets of Dublin to protest against the treatment of its workers by Dunnes Stores.

The workers and their union Mandate have been locked in a struggle with Dunnes for better pay and more secure employment contracts for many months now.

The protesters say they’re not going to be giving up, but all the while the retailer has maintained a stony silence, refusing to engage either with the unions or the media in any way.

We’re asking: Will the Dunnes protests make any difference?
