This Dunnes Stores product could be a potential food safety hazard

The FSAI has issued a warning about a batch of vegetable samosas.

CONSUMERS ARE BEING warned to look out for this Dunnes Stores product as a potential food hazard.

A batch of the store’s Cook at Home range of Vegetable Samosas has been incorrectly packaged with vegetable spring rolls.

These spring rolls contain wheat, barley and soya – all ingredients that have the potential to trigger certain allergies, including gluten intolerance.

The compromised batch comes with a use-by date of 22 November and has a pack size of 160g.

This alert has been issued by the Food Safety Authority of Ireland.

Cereals containing gluten and soybeans are both covered under the 14 food allergens regulated for under EU legislation.
