Poll: Do you eat avocados?

Give it to us straight. Be honest.

IT SEEMS LIKE a strangely simple question today but the avocado has become more of a symbol than a … fruit? vegetable? … in the current climate.

In his excellent piece at the weekend, Rónán Duffy explored how a recent comment equating avocado consumption with fiscal profligacy had become a flashpoint for the generation currently struggling to rent or buy. This morning came the depressing news that the supply of rental properties is at its lowest in recorded history.

So let us eat avocados – what difference will it make, right?

Do you eat avocados anyway? (We defend your right to both eat avocados and be able to access affordable housing.)

Poll Results:
