A NEWS CONFERENCE by the head of the European Central Bank Mario Draghi was interrupted today by a protester shouting for an “end to the ECB dictatorship”.

The woman was wearing a t-shirt with the same slogan and was originally identified as a member of the radical feminist group Femen. She has since tweeted herself to say she is a “freelance activist” named Josephine Witt.

Draghi carried on with his speech a few moments later.

The woman was swiftly removed by ECB security, but she didn’t seem to mind.
