Eight arrested after woman attacked and imprisoned in Dublin apartment

Investigations are continuing and the woman is being treated in hospital for her injuries.

SEVEN MEN AND a teenager have been arrested after a woman was violently attacked in an apartment in Dublin.

Gardai have launched an investigation after the woman, in her 30s, was allegedly falsely imprisoned in the property in Bolton Street on Thursday evening.

The seven men, aged in their 20s, 30s and 50s, and the teenager have been detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act at Garda stations in the Dublin region.

Investigations are continuing and the woman is being treated in hospital for her injuries.
