Biography

He was a member of Clare County Council from 1999 to 2002 before being elected to the Dáil. He has been a TD since 2002 and in 2011 topped the poll in the Clare constituency. He has been Chairman of the Joint Oireachtas Committee on Foreign Affairs and Trade for the past five years.

Experience counts. I have a strong track record for hard work and delivering for the people of County Clare.

Continuing to prioritise decisions needed to broaden and secure our economic recovery and create more jobs.

What one thing would you like to do in your first 100 days of the new Dáil if you are elected?

My priority is for Fine Gael to be returned to government so that I can continue to deliver to the people of Clare.
