Biography

Tóibín was first elected to Meath County Council in May 2019.

Question time
Why should someone vote for you?

I have been a community activist working in the background and helping constituents for many years in Meath. At national level, I would seek to influence and lobby for greater transparency, accountability and democracy.

What is your number one priority for your constituency?

Housing. Get all the vacant houses across Meath, agree a plan and budget to bring them back into the housing market between Meath Co Co and the owners and take huge numbers off the social housing waiting list.

What one thing would you like to do in your first 100 days of the new Dáil if you are elected?

Set up cross-party alliances and put down achievable goals to ramp up housing output and an overhaul of primary care provision across the country.
