Question time
Why should someone vote for you?
I believe our democracy, long taken for granted, is in peril.... We are reminded of the right to vote but never the right to run and at this point, I decided to do just that as government and the opposition are speaking with one voice.
What is your number one priority for your constituency?
To ensure that any new developments in the area meet the highest standard of safety and complement existing amenities. The rush to fast track and build new homes could lead to very costly mistakes
What one thing would you like to do in your first 100 days of the new Dáil if you are elected?
I would propose an informed consent to surgical procedures Bill to complement the Patient Safety Bill. Informed consent is not always being obtained as it should in our hospitals.
