Question time
Why should someone vote for you?

I will always work to the best of my ability to represent the people of Cavan and Monaghan. As a local TD and as minister, I have fought hard to increase the level of investment coming to our counties in recent years.

What is your number one priority for your constituency?

High-quality job creation locally. Good progress has been made with a new IDA Facility under construction in Monaghan. Work will also commence on a new €5 million bioeconomy research centre in the coming months.

What one thing would you like to do in your first 100 days of the new Dáil if you are elected?

Publish a national strategy on SME and entrepreneurship to support our indigenous businesses. Work on this strategy is already at an advanced stage and is informed by a comprehensive review of SME policy in Ireland carried out by the OECD.
