Biography

O'Donovan has been a councillor on South Dublin County Council since first elected in 2014. She is a full-time councillor. She is chair of the Joint Policing Committee and the Social and Community Strategic Policy Committee on the council. She is a former member of the Independent Alliance and unsuccessfully ran in the 2016 general election for the party. She previously worked as a journalist.

Because with my many campaigns and community initiatives, I have made a bigger impact than any other public representative in this constituency.

What is your number one priority for your constituency?

Delivering a sustainable transport system for south Dublin.

What one thing would you like to do in your first 100 days of the new Dáil if you are elected?

Get the extension of the Luas from Kingswood along the M50 to Ballycullen included in the Programme for Government.
