Biography
Collins is an independent TD who previously served as a member of Cork County Council from 2014 to 2016. He was the vice-chairman of the Oireachtas Committee on Culture, Heritage and the Gaeltacht.

Why should someone vote for you?
I'm offering a clear difference to what we have had in government over the past four years and a voice to those who haven't had a voice on certain issues like health, housing and farming.
What is your number one priority for your constituency?
I think health is the biggest issue for my constituents at the moment, although it's hard to pick just one.
What one thing would you like to do in your first 100 days of the new Dáil if you are elected?
I want to put a bit of life back into rural Ireland, as it has been sucked out of it in the past eight years and especially in the past four under the current government.
