Question time
Why should someone vote for you?
I have wide life experience on both ends of the financial scale, from moving with the very rich to being flat broke. Being elected as an Independent, it would allow me to support what I believe to be right and balanced for the greater good of society as a whole, without ignoring minorities.
What is your number one priority for your constituency?
Housing. An accelerated building programme using publicly owned lands for a mix of privately owned housing and social housing with the right to buy, as happened in the UK in the 1980s, could be used to partially solve the problem.
What one thing would you like to do in your first 100 days of the new Dáil if you are elected?
There are so many issues that need to be addressed in our society, like health, housing, crime etc. As an Independent, it would be hot air and foolish of me to commit to getting one particular issue in my first 100 days. I would support whichever initiative I felt offered the best solution without being forced to keep to party lines.
