Biography

Curran was first elected as a TD in 2002. He held his seat until 2011 and was re-elected in the 2016 general election. He is the Fianna Fáil spokesperson on national drug policy and urban affairs. He chaired the Oireachtas Committee on Employment Affairs and Social Protection. He is a former Minister of State. He was first elected to South Dublin County Council in 1999.
