Biography

O'Gorman was first elected to Fingal County Council in 2014 and re-elected in 2019. He is a law lecturer in Dublin City University. He is chairperson of the Fingal Joint Policing Committee and serves on a number of local school boards of management.

Why should someone vote for you?

I have a track record of delivering on issues through my work as a councillor and as a local campaigner.

What is your number one priority for your constituency?

Investment in high quality, affordable public transport to move people around our rapidly growing area quickly.

What one thing would you like to do in your first 100 days of the new Dáil if you are elected?

Introduce a new Climate Action Law which would set clear and regular targets for reducing our emissions and help Ireland meet its international commitments to prevent catastrophic climate change.
