Biography

Starting life as Official Sinn Féin after it split with Sinn Féin over internal divisions in 1970, the party changed its name to Sinn Féin Workers' Party in 1977 and then to The Workers' Party in 1982. It is a left-wing, socialist/communist cross-border party.
