Here’s what today looks like on the campaign trails.

IT’S DAY 20. The leaders of the three biggest parties battled it out last night in their final debate of the election. As the dust settles, here’s what today looks like:

  • Fine Gael’s Simon Harris, Fianna Fáil’s Micheál Martin and Sinn Féin’s Mary Lou McDonald clashed over key issues at the final leaders’ debate last night.
  • Green Party Minister Pippa Hackett and Senator Róisín Garvey will be in Clare to set out the Greens’ manifesto for rural Ireland, while Minister Ossian Smyth will be in Dublin launching the party’s plan to provide new supports to single people.
  • Fianna Fáil leader Micheál Martin and the party’s director of elections Minister Jack Chambers are giving a press conference this morning about “Fianna Fáil’s plan to deliver targeted and sustained action on the most important economic and social issues facing the country ahead of polling day”.
  • The Social Democrats are also holding a press conference in Dublin this morning – their “last formal press conference” of this campaign.
  • Sinn Féin finance spokesperson Pearse Doherty will be speaking to media this afternoon to “call on all voters who do not want to see the return of the current government to lend their vote to Sinn Féin in Friday’s election”.
  • People Before Profit leader Richard Boyd Barrett and other candidates will be calling for voters to “Vote People Before Profit No. 1 and transfer left” at a demonstration in Dublin this afternoon.
  • Fine Gael is holding a “rally” with Simon Harris and several party ministers in Meath this afternoon.
