Poll: Would you buy an electric car?

AA Ireland said there is now an improved range which makes them more affordable to the average motorist.

A NEW STUDY by AA Ireland shows that one in three motorists are considering purchasing a hybrid or electric vehicle when they next change their car.

It found a lack of charging facilities and doubts over effective mileage were the main concerns among people who are unlikely to switch to a hybrid or electric vehicle.

The study also found that there has been significant improvements in electric cars in terms of reduced charging times, improved range and affordability to the average motorist.

So today we’re asking, would you buy an electric car?
