@Kevin Kerr: True, but very few were about his life. It’s a great watch, I don’t rewatch movies as much as I did as a kid/teen but I’ve seen it a couple of times and would watch again, very nice to look at visually
@Megan Ward: That’s true – in fact, none of the ones that I’m talking about were about his life! All silly romances or westerns, really. I must check out the one you’re talking about
@Kevin Kerr: It’s Baz Luhrmann so has that slightly jarring mad visual style and that thing he does with modern music mixed into some scenes but it works, I really enjoyed it :)

One of the greatest to ever do it. My first ever vinyl was Elvis’ album Pot Luck. Those were the days! It’s the only thing that my mother could afford for me that Christmas so it will always be a present and memory that I will forever cherish.
The Sun studio recordings were brilliant, it was downhill all the way after that with a couple of exceptions. As a person he was seriously weird in some respects. Courting Priscilla when she was 14 and then losing interest in her when she became a mother.
