WHILE CONNACHT RUGBY brought their unbeaten home run to a seventh game, an interested observer was in the stands.

The Taoiseach Enda Kenny was in the Sportsground in Galway, cheering on his province, who took on Bayonne in a Challenge Cup pool game.

And, decked out in his Connacht hat, the Taoiseach proved a lucky charm, as Connacht won 42-19.
