Video: Explosions strike Ukrainian city

Over 20 reported injured in series of blasts in Dnepropetrovsk.

EMERGENCY OFFICIALS in Ukraine says that over a dozen people have been injured in a series of explosions in the eastern city of Dnepropetrovsk.

A device exploded in a bin at a busy tram stop, then a second exploded near a train station and a third struck a park, Russia Today reports.

Twenty-seven people have been injured, the Associated Press reports, including nine schoolchildren. It is unclear how many explosions have occurred in the city in total.

The Interfax news agency reports that Ukraine’s President Viktor Yanukovych said that investigations are underway into the cause of the explosions.
