Gas explosion blasts through Dublin house

A man was rescued from the house and taken to hospital with severe burn injuries.

AN EXPLOSION BLASTED through a house on Sullivan Street in Dublin this evening, leaving one man in serious condition with severe burns.

Emergency services are currently attending the scene of the what is thought to have been a gas explosion, which caused extensive damage to the house.

The adjacent Infirmary Road has been closed to facilitate Dublin Fire Brigade which has six units in attendance.

A 58-year-old man was rescued from the house with severe burns. He was taken to the Mater Hospital  and is understood to be in critical condition. There were no other injuries reported in the incident.

    Wow, the last one from The Atavist is a great read. I am from Newfoundland, have lived all but three years of my life here and just hearing about this.

    Loleatta Holloway was one of the unsung legends of dance music given her samples were used by Black Box, Mark Wahlberg, Moby, Alexandra Burke, and many many more. That and the main singers behind the 90′s Eurodance bangers were imitated by other women really soured the legacy when you research the genre thoroughly. Martha Wash was another example of the larger than life gospel voices needed for the Eurodance era. Good article to read after Saturday night throwback anthems.
