AN EXPLOSION BLASTED through a house on Sullivan Street in Dublin this evening, leaving one man in serious condition with severe burns.
Emergency services are currently attending the scene of the what is thought to have been a gas explosion, which caused extensive damage to the house.
The adjacent Infirmary Road has been closed to facilitate Dublin Fire Brigade which has six units in attendance.
A 58-year-old man was rescued from the house with severe burns. He was taken to the Mater Hospital and is understood to be in critical condition. There were no other injuries reported in the incident.

The Journal could at least be honest in its reporting. The issue of arming teachers and staff in schools was firstly brought up by some of the parents. Trump responded to this and said it was something to look at. He also said he understood it was controversial and opened the floor to people who were against the idea. Other parents spoke out against the idea.
He also didn’t use the notes.

Seriously! Think back to secondary school and all the teachers that you had. Would you want them to be constantly armed at school? How do you think they would react in an active shooter situation? What do you think the chances are that they wouldn’t actually end up missing and shooting students by accident when some crazy person with an AR-15 comes barging through the door? How about when a teacher has enough and breaks down (teenagers are awful. In my six years in a small to medium sized secondary school we had four teachers have breakdowns of some sort in the middle of school. One turned a bit violent and started throwing chairs all over the room full of students). Would you want teachers to have a gun in this situation? They say that they will be given training but these are teachers, not police or soldiers. Even the police in America don’t seem to be given enough training in how and when to use a gun. What hope does little old Mrs. Smith the maths teacher have after a couple of days down the gun range?
Seriously, there are many things that can and should be done to prevent these attacks but arming millions(I don’t actually know how many teachers there are) of teachers is probably the worst possible idea!

It is so boring reading comments on Donald Trump after the excuse for media has doctored what he actually said. Listening to TV3 last night, i could’ve said everything they were saying before them because it’s the same rubbish spouted all the time without one critical thought between the lot of them and mostly the same here. Donald Trump did not suggest arming teachers; he discussed different ideas put forward but why would the anti-trumpers bother with reporting the truth? Unbelievable!
