HAVING A FAMILY can be a costly experience. Nappies, clothes, cots and buggies… the expenses add up quickly.

This year, the Budget has brought with it talks of sugar taxes and increases in pension payments, however what does it hold for families?

Just yesterday, it was announced that mothers of premature babies are to be given extended maternity leave, but the funding of other parental costs such as third level education are currently still up for debate.

Whether it be within health, education or parental benefits – is the Budget a threat to your finances?
