With a few more days to endure before the little ones head back to school and all at-home activities likely exhausted, we’ve rounded up six ways for the whole family to get moving.

BELFAST

Go trampolining at We Are Vertigo: Use up every last bit of energy at We Are Vertigo, with indoor trampolines, a climbing wall, soft play village and more. The company is also due to open a Ninja Warrior assault course and an inflatable action course later this month.

Skiing at Kilternan: Fancy going skiing without having to leave the country? Take a trip to the National Snowsports Centre in Kilternan for family skiing lessons for a day out like no other.

Rainforest Adventure Golf: Take a shot at Rainforest Adventure Golf’s two 18-hole courses, with food and drinks available to fuel you throughout games.

LOUTH

Carlingford Adventure Centre: With over 30 activities across land, sea and sky, including abseiling, canoeing and laser combat, you’ll be spoiled for choice at Carlingford Adventure Centre. Plus, you can take part as a family or leave the kids to it – it’s up to you (and your level of bravery).

MEATH

Loughcrew Estate and Gardens Adventure Centre: Go zip-lining, wall climbing or test your fitness on the assault course at Loughcrew. Choose from a full day or half day of adventures and prepare to bring out your competitive side.

LIMERICK

Follow the Glenisca Family Cycling Trail: Dust off your helmets and bicycles for a scenic family bike ride through Curragh Chase Forest Park, which passes Glenisca Lough, cliff walls and a cave.
