Young European Strings Christmas Concert 2017: On Sunday the Pavilion Theatre is hosting the brilliant Young European Strings Chamber Orchestra as they run through all our favourite Christmas carols – before Santa himself comes to visit.

Naughty Or Nice Season: Starting this Sunday, the Lighthouse Cinema is hosting a month of amazing Christmas movies to get us all into the spirit. Choose from family favourites like Home Alone and Elf and settle into the festive season.

Polar Plunge: Don’t be shocked if you see a load of adults in fancy dress at Kinsale’s Dock Beach this weekend. They’ll be taking a plunge in the ice-cold sea, all to benefit Special Olympics Ireland. Embrace the winter chill and watch them in action.

Winter Wonders: Centre Stage School brings its Winter Wonders showcase to the Cork Arts Theatre this weekend. Students will perform a Christmas-themed celebration of theatre and singing, with plenty to keep young audiences entertained.
