Man killed in Cavan farm incident this morning

He was working alone on his farm at the time of the incident.

A MAN IN his 60s died in a farm incident in Cavan this morning.

It happened on the man’s farm at Loughduff near Killydoon just before 11am.

An investigation is now underway. A spokesperson for the Health and Safety Authority told TheJournal.ie that officers attended the scene.

It’s understood that the man was working alone carrying out maintenance on a tractor at the time of the incident.

It’s believed that he died at the scene.
