Woman dies in collision between truck and car, three people injured

The crash happened at 6am this morning on the Duleek to Drogheda Road.

A WOMAN HAS died following a collision between a truck and a car in Meath earlier this morning.

Two men and another woman travelling in the car were injured, with the woman in a serious condition.

All were rushed to Our Lady of Lourdes hospital.

The driver of the truck was injured.

The crash happened close to the Louth border on the R152 between Duleek and Drogheda at 6am this morning.

The scene has been closed to facilitate a forensic examination.

Gardai are appealing for witnesses to collision to contact them in Ashbourne on 01 8010600, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda station.
