Teenager killed in single-vehicle road crash in Donegal last night

Anyone with information is asked to contact gardaí.

GARDAÍ ARE APPEALING for witnesses following a fatal single-vehicle road traffic collision in Donegal last night. 

A teenage boy who was a passenger in the car was killed. 

The driver, a man in his 20s was taken to the Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast, for treatment of injuries which are believed to be serious.

The crash occurred on the R240 at Cross, Quigley’s Point, Co. Donegal at approximately 11.15pm last night.

The road remains closed this morning to allow for an examination of the scene by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators.

Any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and were travelling in the area at the time are asked to make this footage available to investigating Gardaí.
