Body found in search for fisherman missing from Cork trawler

A body is found by diving crews searching for a fisherman who went missing when his trawler stopped overnight in Cork.

A BODY HAS been found by search parties in Castletownbere in Co Cork, after a man in his 40s went missing from a trawler that had docked there overnight.

The missing man and had been on board the trawler before it stopped at the Co Cork town overnight to take on new supplies.

There was no sign of him afterward, however, and it is feared that he may have drowned.

Local lifeboat crews had searching the fishing port, and a subaqua diving team had taken to the water.
