Female cyclist dies four days after Kerry crash

The woman in her 40s died of her injuries at Kerry General Hospital last night.

A FEMALE CYCLIST has died four days after a crash in Co. Kerry.

The woman in her 40s was involved in a collision with a car at Rathass in Tralee at around 8pm last Wednesday night.

She was brought to Kerry General Hospital where her condition was described as serious.

She died last night as a result of injuries sustained in the crash.

Gardaí are investigating and have appealed for any witnesses to contact Tralee Garda Station on 066 – 712 300 or the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111.
