Female driver dies in Antrim collision

The female was the driver of a car that was involved in a collision with a lorry on the Moneygran Road in Portglenon.

A WOMAN HAS died following a road traffic collision on the Moneygran Road in Portglenone, Co Antrim, this morning.

The PSNI confirmed that the female was the driver of a car that was involved in a collision with a lorry. The collision was reported to police shortly after 8.10am.

The occupants of the lorry were not injured in the collision.

Police have appealed to anyone who was travelling on the Moneygran Road this morning and who witnessed the collision to contact the Collision Investigation Unit in Steeple on 0845 600 8000.

The Moneygran Road has now re-opened to traffic.
