19-month-old boy dies in road crash in Fermanagh

A man and a woman have also been hospitalised with serious injuries.

A 19-MONTH-OLD boy has died following a road crash in Fermanagh yesterday afternoon.

The crash happened just before 4pm yesterday afternoon when two cars – a silver Renault Megane and a silver Peugeot 307 – collided on the Boa Island Road.

A man and a woman have been hospitalised and their condition is described as serious.

Police have appealed for information from anyone who may have witnessed the collision to contact them on 0845 600 8000.

The Boa Island Road is expected to remain closed for most of this morning and diversions are in place.
