THIS IS THE video that led to a man’s arrest.

Indian businessman Mohammed Nisham, who let his nine-year-old son cruise around in his Ferrari, was arrested after he posted the footage of the youngster at the wheel on YouTube, police said today.

The 88-second clip shows his son driving the Ferrari F430 with his five-year-old brother as co-passenger.

“The police cyber cell alerted us of it and we questioned Nisham who admitted he encouraged his son to drive the car on April 6,” said Biju Kumar, an officer in the Peramangalam district of Kerala, where the incident occurred.

“We have booked Nisham under relevant laws,” Kumar told AFP by phone from Peramangalam, a suburban neighbourhood.

A total of 131,834 people were killed in road accidents in India in 2011, according to the latest official government records.
