Poll: Do you have a fidget spinner in your home?

What’s your take? Be honest.

IN CASE YOU’RE not aware (in which case we already know your answer to this poll), fidget spinners are the current toy craze for children and pre-teens.

This hand-held spinning toy is a bestseller on Amazon at the moment and the debate is open on whether they are irritating distractions or great for combatting anxiety and improving concentration levels.

Regardless of the effect, they are everywhere. (One is even currently doing the rounds of TheJournal.ie HQ.)

Do you have a fidget spinner in your household?

Poll Results:

No, definitely not (7226)
Yes, but it's not mine (5355)
Yes, and I play with it (2167)
No, but want one (1599)

@Coles: No they’re not. That’s a myth and there’s zero research evidence for them. There are plenty fidget items that can be useful for kids with ADHD or ASD, but these are toys. It takes more concentration to use these so it just serves to distract kids more.
