A mere 27 years after that iconic Packie Bonner save, a film about the summer of dreams is to be shown at this year’s Audi Dublin Film Festival, starting on the 16 February.

A Nation Holds Its Breath is just 20 minutes long, and tells the story of a man who has to make the decision between watching his first child being born or watch Ireland reaching the quarterfinals of the World Cup.

After all, they’re both once-in-a-lifetime opportunities…
