Financial services company to create 100 jobs in Galway, Dublin

Fidelity Investments is to create 100 software engineering, development and systems analysis positions.

A FINANCIAL SERVICES company has announced that it is to create 100 new jobs for Galway and Dublin.

Fidelity Investments is to create the jobs for Fidelity Offices on the Parkmore East Business Park, Galway, and also for its offices in Dublin. The company currently employs 240 people in the country, RTÉ reports.

Citing reasons for its expansion in Ireland, the company said that the quality of Irish graduates, workforce, and the research being carried out at Irish universities was an driving factor.

The creation of 100 highly-skilled technology jobs demonstrates Ireland’s potential as a leading location for the industry, said the IDA.

The jobs will be in the areas of software engineering, development and systems analysis over the next three years.
