Jobs Minister Richard Bruton has welcomed today's jobs announcement Laura Hutton/Photocall Ireland

Fund administration company to create 150 new jobs

Butterfield Fulcrum Group has announced the creation of the new jobs that will bring its workforce in Ireland to 250.

A FUND ADMINISTRATION company has announced the creation of 150 new jobs in Dublin.

The Butterfield Fulcrum Group, which says it is one of the leading independent fund administration companies, has said it will expand its Dublin operation with the creation of the new jobs.

This will bring its total job numbers to 250 in Ireland with Jobs Minister Richard Bruton hailing the latest investment in the financial services sector.

The new jobs will be in areas of middle office and customer relationship management.

The company set up in Ireland three years ago and the government, through IDA Ireland, has been working with the company to secure this latest investment.

Bruton said in a statement: “International financial services is a key sector targeted in the Government’s plan for jobs and growth, and in the past 18 months we have implemented a number of changes to support expansion and job-creation in this sector.”

The company announced 60 new jobs last year after what it said was quicker than expected growth in its Irish business.
