Here's what the average home costs in Finglas in 2018

According to the latest data from Daft.ie.

THE AVERAGE ASKING price of a home in Finglas is now just over €225,000, according to the latest figures.

New analysis from Daft.ie puts the average list price across all properties in the area at €225,220.

This makes Finglas one of the cheapest areas for property on average anywhere in the capital. Out of 117 Dublin neighbourhoods tracked by Daft.ie, only five are cheaper. (They are Ballyfermot, Mulhuddart, Balbriggan, Park West and Finglas’ neighbour to the east Ballymun.)

However, prices in the Finglas area have risen relatively quickly. The average asking price in the neighbourhood has increased by 82.5 per cent since 2012 – the overall figure citywide is roughly 70 per cent.

The average asking price in the capital overall is around €400,000. The same average nationwide is just over €262,000.
