Shots fired at Dublin house with children inside

Gardaí believe that up to two people on a high-powered motorcycle were involved but no arrests have been made.

GARDAÍ IN DUBLIN are investigating an incident in which shots were fired at a house in Finglas, Dublin, last night.

A garda spokesperson told TheJournal.ie that shots were fired at the door of a house at Glenties Drive in Finglas at approximately 10pm last night.

It is believed that “one, if not two people on a high-powered motorcycle” were involved in the incident.

There was a number of people inside the house including children but there were no injuries. Gardaí were called to the scene which has been preserved for a technical forensic examination.

Witnesses reported seeing damage to the front door consistent with shots being fired.

No arrests have been made in connection with the incident and investigations are ongoing.
