Girls jump from window to escape fire in their home

Nobody was injured in the incident.

TWO YOUNG GIRLS were seen on video jumping from a fire that engulfed their home.

The girls jumped from their house in Atlanta on Tuesday into the arms of two waiting neighbours.

“I heard someone banging on the window — you could see the window all broken, so we just ran over there and helped them out,” Deigo Silva, who caught the girls, told USA Today.

The fire destroyed an apartment complex in the north of the city, leaving 29 people, including 11 families, homeless. The local Red Cross is assisting those affected.
