Firefighters are battling a huge blaze in south Dublin

A number of units are still in attendance at the scene.

FIREFIGHTERS IN DUBLIN are in the process of battling a huge blaze on the city’s southside.

The fire is in a commercial building on Emmett Road in Inchicore.

Currently there are four pumps in operation at the scene as well as a fire engine with a turntable ladder and an environmental unit.

Dublin Fire Brigade have said that there are not believed to have been any injuries and that the operation is expected to continue over the next few hours.

Motorists are being advised that the road is closed to traffic and that delays are to be expected in the area.
