Fire brigade take control of building fire in Dublin

The blaze broke out in a derelict building in Portland Row in Dublin 1.

DUBLIN FIRE BRIGADE are currently attending the scene of a fire at a derelict house in Portland Row in Dublin 1.

The DFB told TheJournal.ie they were alerted to the blaze at 8.41am this morning.

Five units attended the incident, but just one unit remains “to dampen down the hot spots,” according to the DFB.

There are not believed to be any injuries in the incident, which happened in a building across from the Five Lamps in Dublin’s inner city.
