Family escape blaze in Dublin suburb, one person hospitalised

Three fire engines attended the scene.

A FAMILY ESCAPED a blaze at their home in Palmerstown, Dublin last night.

Emergency services attended at the scene at 2am this morning.

Three units from Dublin Fire Brigade fought the blaze at Whitethorn Gardens.

However, the family had escaped from the house before their arrival.

One person suffered from smoke inhalation and was taken to hospital.
