Three rescued from fire at Dublin apartment block overnight

It’s believed rubbish in the stairwell of the apartment complex was to blame for the blaze.

AT LEAST THREE people sustained minor injuries last night as emergency services responded to a blaze at an apartment block in Tallaght, south Dublin.

The alarm was raised at around 9.45pm last night.

Dublin Fire Brigade sent four units, an officer car and an ambulance to the scene at McWilliam Lane.

Three ambulances from the National Ambulance Service also responded.

It’s believed rubbish in the stairwell of the apartment complex was to blame for the blaze.

A Garda spokesperson said at least three people sustained minor injuries only.

They were taken for treatment to local hospitals, including Tallaght.
