Woman dies in house fire in west Cork

The blaze is not believed to be suspicious.

A WOMAN HAS died in a house fire this morning.

The incident occurred at Myross in Union Hall in west Cork.

Gardaí in Skibbereen are investigating the fatal fire, in which a woman in her late 50s died.

The blaze broke out at the home at around 8.10am this morning.

The body remains at the scene and at this stage the fire is not believed to be suspicious.

Gardaí said they are appealing for witnesses.
