WHILE THERE IS no way to make light of the damage caused by this week’s storms, this photograph submitted to TheJournal.ie has raised a smile from us this morning.

Gerry Duffy, a wedding videographer in Dundalk, Co Louth (see his FB page here), was quick to catch these enterprising boyos as they decided that if their dinner was going to float up to them, they would be ready to catch it.

Gerry took the pic at the Clermont Arms, at Blackrock, Co Louth yesterday.
