Five arrested as gardaí investigate organised crime

As part of an ongoing investigation, gardaí arrested the five men in Kill, Co Kildare, early this morning.

FIVE MEN aged in their 30s have been arrested and firearms recovered by gardaí as part of an ongoing investigating into organised crime.

Members of the gardaí’s organised crime and emergency response units stopped two cars in Kill, Co Kildare, at around 1am today and arrested the five men.

Two firearms were discovered during a search of the cars.

The men are being held at Clondalkin and Ballyfermot Garda Stations under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act 1939.
