Four arrested over Belfast car hijacking

Two women were pulled from a parked car in west Belfast by masked males, one of whom had a knife, in the early hours of this morning.

POLICE IN BELFAST have arrested four males over the hijacking of a car in the city in the early hours of this morning.

Two women were pulled from a parked car in the Sleivegallon Drive area of west Belfast by masked males at around 12.55am on Saturday morning. One of the attackers was armed with a knife.

The stolen vehicle was then observed and stopped by police in Dunmurry following a short pursuit.

The men – aged 15, 17 and two aged 18 – remain in custody helping police with their enquiries.
