Four arrested over Easter Monday crash that killed two young people

Police are also again appealing for witnesses to the crash to come forward.

FOUR PEOPLE HAVE been arrested over a crash that killed two young men and injured others.

Robin Wilson (26) and Johnny Black (19) died following the collision at 3:40am on Monday April 6.

The incident, involving a Peugeot 207 and a Volkswagen Bora, also injured a number of others.

It happened on the Cushendall Road, Ballycastle. One of those injured was 18-year-old Clodagh Arbuckle.

She is now slowly recovering in the brain injuries unit at Musgrave Park Hospital, after spending two weeks in a coma.

Today, investigating officers arrested two men aged 20 and 50 and two women aged 20 and 48.

Constable Michael McNee of the Collision Investigation Unit is appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision or who was travelling on the Cushendall Road at the time of the collision to contact the Collision Investigation Unit at Steeple or local Police in Ballycastle on the non-emergency number 101.

Or, if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.
